Brompton M2 Processor Restore
In the processor of updating the Brompton LED Processors, they may crash and become unresponsive. Follow the steps below to do an SD Card restore, then continue with your upgrade.
- Download the SD Card restore files from here -
http://dl.bromptontech.com/tessera/processor/tessera_sd_card_2.1.1.tar.gz
- Extract the SD Card from your M2 and place it into your laptop
- The top silver cover of the processor needs to be removed to access the SD Card. You'll need an allen key to accomplish this.
- On Windows, format the SD Card as Fat32 (Right-click the SD card in your file explore -> Format -> FAT 32)
- Unzip the file on your Mac, then transfer the files inside the folder to the root of the SD Card without a folder.
- Place the SD Card back into your Processor and power on.
- After performing the SD card restore, feel free to update again, if you're trying to run the latest version.
