How to Map a Network Drive on Windows
- Go to your File Explorer by searching for it on your search bar
2. Once you have opened your File Explorer, search on the left-hand menu for “This PC” and right-click on the menu item. From the drop-down menu that appears when you right-click on “This PC”, select the option that says “Map Network Drive…”
3. From the window that pops up, under the option that says “Drive:” select the drop-down menu and choose the letter of the drive you would like to map.
4. Under the option that says “Folder:” this is where we will enter the drive mapping. Please view the following list to enter the correct drive mapping for the network drive you are looking to have on your pc:
a. For example, if you wanted to map the O: Drive onto your computer, you would select the Drive: option “O:” and enter the Folder: text as “\\apostles.local\operations”

5. Once you have filled out the fields from step 4, make sure the “Reconnect at sign-in” option is checked, then click “Finish” on the pop-up window.
6. A window will then pop up asking for your login information. This will be your username and current password. Once you have entered your username and current password, check the box that says “Remember my credentials” and click the OK button.
7. You should now be connected to the desired drive in which you mapped. To get back to the network drive you wish to view, search “File Explorer” on your pc, and select the “This PC” option from the left-hand menu. From there, double-click on the drive you would like to view under Network Locations.
