Troubleshooting Volunteer Check-In iPads
When it comes to selecting the myEBC sessions for the volunteers, on Wednesday nights the session selected for each iPad should be [Campus] Mid-Week Volunteers (Self), and on weekends the session selected for each iPad should be [Campus] Weekend Volunteers (Self).
As far as troubleshooting the iPads:
- If you are not discovering any networks for Wi-Fi, give the iPad a manual restart by holding down the power button (top right) and the home button at the same time until you see a black screen. The iPad will then come back up with the Apple logo when it is turning back on. If it does not turn back on by itself after a couple of minutes, go ahead and manually turn it back on by holding down the power button (top right) until you see the Apple logo come up. Then check the Wi-Fi options again.
- To log into the Staff Wi-Fi:
Username: volunteer.checkin
Password: iPads8thGen
- If you are getting a blue screen when opening the myEBC Check-in App, first, make sure they are connected to the internet. If they are connected to the internet, then double-click the home button and swipe up on each open application to exit all of the background applications, then open the myEBC Check-in app back up. If that still doesn't work, then give them a manual restart by holding down the power button (top right) and the home button at the same time until you see a black screen. The iPad will then come back up with the Apple logo when it is turning back on. If it does not turn back on by itself after a couple of minutes, go ahead and manually turn it back on by holding down the power button (top right) until you see the Apple logo come up.
